Q. Where do we meet?

We meet you outside the gate to the Dun Laoghaire Marina building. The Marina building is located close to the old ferry terminal and the Dart station. Please see our maps page for further details. If you are having trouble finding us on the day, just give us a call on 087 0922913.

Q. What are your booking and cancellations terms and conditions?

We require a 50% deposit to confirm a booking and the remaining balance a week out. If cancelled within 7 days you forfeit the 50% deposit, if cancelled within 48 hours you forfeit the full amount. If we need to cancel due to adverse weather we will try to rearrange for a different day or offer a refund.

Q. Are children allowed on board?

Gosailing actively welcome children on board. Minimum age of 4 applies as the child does need to be able to walk steadily.

Q. Do you carry life jackets?

The latest designs in personal floatation are mandatory at all times and each passenger is provided with a Helly Hansen automatic inflation Lifevest upon arrival.

Q. What should I wear?

It is always cooler on the water than onshore. The sea breeze can also create a 'chill factor' so we advise all passengers to take warm clothes and a waterproof jacket. Flat (preferably non-marking) footwear is essential for safety on the water.

Q. What happens if the weather is unfavourable and the trip is cancelled?

In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to bad weather or technical difficulties, you will be entitled to re-book a sailing trip for another convenient time or if you choose, receive a full refund upon request.

Q. How many people can you take on the yacht?

We are licensed by the Department of Transport for 12 passengers and 3 crew. On an overnight we have 4 double ensuite cabins which sleep 8 in comfort. Larger groups can be catered for using our associate companies.

There is ample on street pay parking just outside the entrance to the marina. There is also underground pay parking by the old ferry terminal.
